Bristol Hotel - San Diego, CA, USA

Jul 4th, 2008 by Draqos | 0

Valet parking (surcharge) is available for cars and standard-sized SUVs only. The garage does not accommodate large SUVs and trucks, nor SUVs and vans with roof racks. The lobby looks more like it belongs in hip South Beach or Los Angeles, with modern furnishings in crayon colors of red, yellow, and blue. Bold pop-art sets a high-energy mood. A softer ambience prevails in the intimate bistro and ebony-paneled cocktail lounge just off the lobby. The Bristol Hotel is justly proud of its art collection that includes works by Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, and Peter Max. The spectacular Starlight Ballroom, with a sliding roof that allows dining under the night sky, is available for private parties and business functions.

In downtown San Diego three blocks from the Gaslamp Quarter, this hotel is across the street from Horton Plaza and three miles from the San Diego Zoo.

The Bristol Hotel features Daisies Bistro—serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner—and an adjacent lounge. Guests have access to a lobby printer and computer with complimentary high-speed Internet access. The hotel’s ballroom, with a sliding roof, accommodates 350 guests. For smaller gatherings, a conference room holds 35 guests. This hotel includes a fitness room and offers room service. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby.
