Planning Family Vacations

Planning family vacations is often the subject of argument and debate within many households across America. Especially for large families or those with large children, the thought of flying and going on a week-long vacation may seem daunting, if not impossible. In fact, many families completely avoid taking long vacations based on their fear of facing the troubles of airport security, flight delays, and other travel-related problems. However, taking a cruise is one of the best vacation options for families of all shapes and sizes.

Cruises can be found in several seaboard cities across the United States for families who want to avoid flying to transiting through large airline hubs. Some of the most popular points include Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, New York City, Boston, New Orleans, Galveston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Honolulu. These oceanfront gateways are served by over a dozen cruise lines operating itineraries up and down the coasts, to the Caribbean, throughout the Hawaiian islands, to the Mexican Riviera, and even to the fjords of Alaska. On ships large and small, families can unpack just once and still experience several fun destinations. Even more enticing is the dining rooms and all-inclusive price tag that makes a vacation fun and enjoyable instead of stressful and boring.
